Fresh lettuce

Have you tasted fresh homegrown lettuce lately?
What's nice is that you can take some for dinner and it keeps growing.
The broccoli are doing great too. Just not quite ready for the dinner plate yet.
Squash? Growing fast. Debbie's green thumb is doing wonders.

Yes, the lettuce is doing great! But the cabbage not so good. Anybody know how to get rid of cabbage loopers? These little green worms (sort of like an inchworm) are voracious eaters. The moths come at night and lay the larvae and there you go... munch, munch, munch. I'm seeing them in my sleep, lol.

As you know now, Natria Insecticidal Soap by Bayer Advanced works. And it's organic. That's what I brought you from Lowe's (available at any local hardware store I think). As of yesterday it's been getting rid of these cabbage loopers. Yes, you really wanted "Bacillus Thuringiensis" which I couldn't find but, folks, a good strong organic Insecticidal soap works.
